Ambler Farmer’s Market

The need for fresh food is not a new topic in town, and frankly, neither is a Farmer’s Market. You may remember some discussion about an Ambler Farmer’s Market back in 2010, unfortunately things got derailed. Two years later the market concept is alive and well, as there is a small group of committed citizens who are working hard to make an Ambler Farmer’s Market a reality. We hope to have the market up and running by Spring of 2013, but we need your help to do so! Here are a few highlights from a recent trip I took to a farm market. I say trip because, while well worth it, it was considerably out of my way and as a result I am rarely able to shop there. Being able to walk to a weekly Farmer’s Market in Ambler would be amazing!
