Curiosity Almost Killed The Cat

Who else is wondering what is going on at the corner of Butler and Bethlehem? I must drive past this spot at least 2,3,4 times a day, everyday, and for years it sat, former Exxon, long defunct and forever for sale. I did notice the for sale sign come down some time ago and a little activity in the past few weeks and them BOOM, like a thief in the night appeared a two story building. I have heard some rumors as to what this newly constructed, rather large, building will become and today I finally got a definite answer. The details I have are few, but I do know that once finished it will be a bakery/coffee shop, complete with a drive thru. There will also be a few apartments on the second floor.

I personally am thrilled to see something positive happening in this depressed space, after all it is one of the main entrances to town. However, I am a little concerned about how this will affect Sweet Bytes as they have just revamped their business to be primarily a bakery, but hopefully there will be enough business to go around and everyone will work in harmony.
